About Decrave
Decrave is a quit-smoking habit-support app built for people who still smoke and want a practical place to begin. You can start with one craving, use the free SOS tools, and keep a record of what you learn before choosing a quit date.
Its cumulative cravings-beaten count preserves earlier wins after a slip. This describes how the app records progress; it is not a measure of health recovery or proof of a particular quitting outcome.
Who publishes our guides
Decrave publishes and is responsible for the guides on this website. They are general education and habit-support resources, with product examples showing how Decrave can fit into a person's routine.
- Sources: guides link to the public health resources used, including Smokefree.gov, the National Cancer Institute, and the NHS. Those organizations do not endorse Decrave.
- Scope: a source about quitting or coping with cravings is not evidence that Decrave itself improves quit rates. The guides do not offer an individual assessment or replace qualified professional support.
- Updates: the date on a guide identifies its latest content update. A source-check note identifies when its linked resources were checked; it does not indicate clinical review.
- Corrections: email support@decrave.net with the guide URL, the passage in question, and a relevant source. We welcome corrections and questions.
Frequently asked questions
I logged that I smoked. Did I lose my progress?
No. Your cravings-beaten count and Momentum never reset to zero, no matter what you log. Decrave tracks how many cravings you've beaten in total, not a streak of days — logging a slip just adds one more data point, it doesn't erase the ones before it.
Do I need to set a quit date to use the app?
No. Decrave never asks you to commit to a quit date up front, and everything in the app works without one. If you set a daily cigarette goal from the Home screen and hit it consistently for two weeks, Decrave will suggest picking a quit day at that point — but only as a suggestion you can accept or skip, never a requirement.
How do I cancel or manage my Decrave Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Apple, not us. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Decrave, and you can view, change, or cancel from there. We aren't able to issue refunds ourselves — Apple handles that under its own refund policy.
Does Decrave sync across my devices?
Yes, if you're signed into iCloud — your logs sync privately through your own iCloud account. We never see this data. If you're not signed into iCloud, the app still works fully on a single device.
How do I export or delete my data?
Decrave Pro can export your logs as a CSV file from Progress → Settings → Export your data. Uninstalling the app removes all data stored locally; see our Privacy Policy for how to remove synced iCloud data as well.
Is Decrave a medical treatment?
No. Decrave is a wellness and habit-tracking tool, not a medical device, and it doesn't diagnose or treat any condition. If you have questions about nicotine dependence or cessation medication, please talk to a doctor.
