Decrave ("the app," "we," "us") is a wellness tool that helps people beat nicotine cravings without waiting for a formal quit date. This policy explains what data the app and the decrave.net website collect, why, and what choices you have.

1. What we collect

Decrave is built to keep as much as possible on your device:

• Craving logs — timestamp, outcome (beaten or smoked), trigger, intensity. Stored locally on your device via Apple's SwiftData framework.
• Reduction plan — your daily cigarette target and quit date, if you choose to set one.
• Settings — things like your price-per-pack estimate and notification preference, stored locally via iOS's standard app-storage mechanism.
• Optional anonymous product analytics — if you opt in, TelemetryDeck receives product-interaction events and a privacy-preserving device identifier used to count distinct users. These analytics are not linked to your identity and are not used for tracking or advertising. TelemetryDeck does not collect your name, email, advertising identifier, IP address, or the craving logs stored in the app.
• Aggregate website analytics — when you visit decrave.net, Umami Cloud records aggregate information such as the page visited, referring source, device category, browser, country, and App Store, guide, and Web SOS button events. Button events include the general placement of the button on the page. The Web SOS exercise also records anonymous counts of starts, timer completions, and early finishes. A timer completion does not indicate whether you smoked or whether a craving changed. The website does not request or store craving intensity, triggers, smoking outcomes, or a personal exercise history. Umami does not use cookies. We do not send names, email addresses, or personal user identifiers, and we do not use these statistics for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Features like Trigger Radar, Milestones, and the Progress charts (craving intensity, top triggers, money trajectory, peak hours) don't collect anything new — they're calculated entirely on your device from the craving logs above, and that calculation never leaves your phone.

2. iCloud sync

If you're signed into iCloud, Decrave can sync your craving logs and reduction plan across your own devices using Apple's CloudKit private database. This data is stored in the private portion of your personal iCloud account — we do not have access to it, and it is never shared with other users or with us. If you're not signed into iCloud, the app works entirely offline with no loss of functionality.

3. What we don't do

• We don't use advertising SDKs or ad-tracking identifiers.
• We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We don't read your messages, contacts, location, or any other on-device data outside what you explicitly log in the app.
• We don't require an account or login — there's nothing tied to your identity on our servers, because we don't operate servers that store your personal logs.

4. Subscriptions

Decrave Pro subscriptions are handled entirely through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). We never see or store your payment details — that's handled by Apple under its own privacy policy. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings app.

5. Notifications

If you turn on the optional daily reminder, it's scheduled locally on your device. We don't use a push notification server, so we never see when or whether you received it.

6. Your choices

• App analytics consent — anonymous in-app analytics are off until you explicitly opt in during onboarding. You can withdraw or grant consent anytime from Progress → Settings → Analytics. Withdrawing consent stops future in-app analytics collection.
• Export — Decrave Pro lets you export everything you've logged as a CSV file at any time, for a date range you choose.
• Delete — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. If iCloud sync was on, you can also delete the app's data from your iCloud account via Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on your iPhone.

TelemetryDeck processes opted-in app analytics, and Umami Cloud processes aggregate website analytics, on our behalf under their respective privacy and data-protection commitments. We use this information only to improve Decrave and understand the effectiveness of our website. We require service providers handling it to provide protections consistent with this policy.

7. Children's privacy

Decrave carries an 18+ age rating on the App Store because of its tobacco-related content, and it isn't intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country).

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify you in the app.
